American mainstream media has no credibility whatsoever!

Canadian investors after having seen the American primaries, the campaigning, the elections and the results, should now realize that the American mainstream media is shamelessly biased and has no credibility whatsoever with a huge percentage of Americans. Any prudent Canadian should take most opinions and views from the American media with a grain of salt. As the American economy has an enormous influence on the Canadian economy, Canadian investors should try to get a good balance from the non-mainstream media sources and the internet.

We have no faith in the accuracy or the opinions of the American major media particularly the three major television networks in their reporting (their own interpreting) of news. Classic example: The media elite clowns were calling Hillary the winner up to the final hours based upon their very erroneous and biased polling data which they had obviously concocted. These biased manipulators have demonstrated themselves as duplicitous and devious as well as extremely inaccurate particularly over the last year. Their reporting was so biased at times that it bordered on outrageous.

If you watched the debates over the last year, you could see that the panelists were incredibly one-sided in favor of the democrats with the exception of the Fox News Network. Many cannot forget the smug smart alack panelist from a business network that was incredibly arrogant even using the word “clown” in his questioning. He seems to believe the world needs someone like himself to “expose” the Republicans. In our view, he is the perfect protective buffoon. After seeing his on air performance, one Upstate New Yorker described him in very uncomplimentary terms; he was that far out of line. You should have seen the comments we received on his segment; he should be a barker at a circus.

All anyone had to do was watch the recent American presidential election to confirm that the American media is totally biased to the left and is “in the tank” for the Democratic Party. The major media seems to report and emphasize any possibly negative news they could fashion, misconstrue and manipulate about Donald Trump and the Republicans. The public sees it and the media is now held at the lowest levels of respect by the public.

Face it; the last eight years have not been very successful insofar as the economy is concerned. While the independent Federal Reserve has pumped near zero interest rates into the economy, growth has been at one of the lowest rates in decades. They claim that unemployment is low?  Really? The labor participation rate is under 63% (percentage of those who are working of all those that truly want to work); that is close to its lowest participation rate ever.

So what will happen? We want to see the American economy do well as it would greatly benefit Canada and in particular the mining industry. Yet, the biased main-stream media has already commenced ruthlessly attacking Donald Trump on anything such as advisers, cabinet choices and other appointees. They will continue their quest to destroy his administration and will give no credit for any successes that his administration may have.

With the North American and world economies so vulnerable, Donald Trump and his team of advisers earned the opportunity to focus on their proposals and strategies without the arrogant media jackals relentlessly braying, barking and nipping at their heels. We need to see economic success and growth commence so give Donald Trump the opportunity to do it.

Abraham Lincoln’s famous line was “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”  The American media has certainly tried to “fool all of the people” but enough of “some of the people” could see it and were wise to these main stream media brainless half wits.

Just to be politically correct, a similar expression was written in a 1684 article by Frenchman Jacques Abbadie: “on pû tromper quelques hommes, ou les tromper tous dans certains lieux et en certains temps, mais non pas tous les hommes, dans tous les lieux et dans tous les siécles. (I don’t think Abe Lincoln was a plagiarist, after all he was called “Honest Abe” wasn’t he? Besides, during the Civil War, he visited my wounded great grandfather who was recuperating in a Union hospital, so I am an admirer of Abe Lincoln)

Even after the elections, the mainstream media still assumes that the public is ignorant and uninformed, they are not! That should be obvious from the 2016 election results. So major media, get this message, there are too many other sources of valid news and solid information. You main stream media minions lost the election due to the fact many people do not believe what you say on television or in print media. They see you as nothing more than “agenda promoters.” They are absolutely correct.
